About Jim Watson

Jim Watson brings more than thirty years of experience in Christian ministry, addiction recovery, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and pastoral care.

After struggling with alcohol addiction and surrendering his life to Christ, Jim went on to found six inner-city missions, develop Christ-centered recovery programs, pastor four churches, teach thousands of Bible studies, preach in hundreds of churches, and help ministries serve people battling addiction, homelessness, poverty, and brokenness.

He is the author of Unchained: Finding Freedom from Addiction Through Christ and the founder of The Veritas Journey, which provides confidential coaching for leaders, recovery meeting resources for churches, and consulting for Christian ministries building long-term recovery programs.
